The awards keep rolling in for our agency. This week, finalists were announced in Ragan’s PR Daily Social Media & Digital Awards program and Three Rings was named a finalist in the Brand Awareness and Social Media Campaign for our work with client, SES. For the Social Media Campaign category, Three Rings was shortlisted among heavy-hitting companies such as The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, W Hotels, Hallmark Media and Cisco!
In case you’re not familiar with them, PR Daily’s Social Media & Digital Awards are one of the top awards in the marketing industry, shining a spotlight on the digital campaigns, content, people and teams that not only grabbed attention on the crowded digital landscape, but also turned engagement into positive results for their organizations or clients. Nominations were judged on four main components: goals, strategy and tactics, execution and evaluation of results.
As mentioned, both nominations highlighted Three Rings’ collaboration with SES – a $2 billion provider of satellite-enabled services and trusted partner to the world’s leading telecommunication companies, mobile network operators, broadcasters, governments, connectivity and cloud service providers among others– to increase brand awareness and drive interest in the launch of its O3b mPOWERsatellite constellation. Three Rings led efforts to create a multi-channel brand campaign and introduce SES to a relevant but broader audience via organic and paid social media, influencer relations and multimedia content marketing. #ShareAnywhere is a campaign designed to convey the spirit of the O3b mPOWER mission – to create a truly connected world.
#ShareAnywhere kicked off in early 2022 by announcing the creation of the #ShareAnywhere Virtual Launch Kit. Hosted on the SES website, the kit included Instagram filters, stickers, coloring pages and other social media enhancements that visitors could literally share anywhere. The campaign ran across six social media channels, including the SES website, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Three Rings promoted the campaign using a variety of visual media, including video, graphics, reels, behind-the-scenes footage, user-generated images, Instagram filters and stickers, contests and more!
The results we achieved speak for themselves. By the end of 2022, the campaign reached over 41 million people, with content generating over 79 million impressions and 3.3 million engagements. What’s more, the residual impact of the #ShareAnywhere campaign can be seen in the overall social metrics for the global SES channels. Through 2022, SES increased its social media following to over 118k followers across all channels, up 34% in YoY growth.
