The Challenge

In 2017, Optiv engaged Three Rings to help redefine its market perception. The company needed to shift from being viewed as a value-added reseller to a modern managed security services provider, while simultaneously increasing brand visibility and establishing executive leadership in an increasingly crowded cybersecurity landscape.

As Optiv evolved, so did the challenge. In 2021, the company underwent another major transformation, this time defining a category of its own as the cyber advisory and solutions leader, requiring a refreshed narrative and reinforced media presence.

The Approach

Three Rings partnered closely with Optiv to build and sustain a cohesive corporate narrative over nearly a decade. Acting as an extension of Optiv’s internal team, we led proactive media relations, executive thought leadership, and content development programs designed to drive credibility, visibility, and long-term authority.
